To support our move into EMEA, Blue Cedar welcomes mobile software industry veteran Lars Ronning as vice president and general manager for EMEA, positioning Blue Cedar for growth in the region. He will be based in the U.K.
EMEA, and particularly the European Union, presents great opportunities for Blue Cedar’s approach to mobile app protection. The increasing use of mobile apps and devices in the enterprise means that organizations’ attack surfaces are expanding. And new, stringent data privacy rules—such as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)—means that securing mobile apps and data is quickly rising to the top of IT and security executives’ priority lists.
Ronning has a 25-year track record of establishing and growing startups and mid-size companies’ EMEA operations into multimillion-dollar success stories, with senior executive positions at Helpshift and RingCentral, and before that senior operating positions at Active Network, VMware, Yahoo!, Zimbra, and Openwave.
With the newest release of the Blue Cedar mobile app security platform, Ronning is ready to help enterprise customers doing business in EMEA secure their critical enterprise apps without having to manage a plethora of different mobile devices.
